I’m a Detroit multidisciplinary artist and cinematographer whose work spans traditional illustration, graphic design, screen printing, digital and analog photography, painting, cinematography, color grading, animation, experimental art, video installations, poetry, storytelling, sound design, and coding. I’ve shown at numerous underground Detroit art shows, and in 2014 I was an artist in residence at the Red Bull House of Art in eastern market.
I immersed myself in Detroit’s creative renaissance as a VJ, esoteric collaborator, and abstract artist residency facilitator. Over the years I created motion graphics for the North American Auto Show in both Detroit and Los Angeles, contributed animation to documentaries screened at the Detroit Freep Film Festival, assisted Jerry Vile with video art installations for the Dirty show, performed video synthesis in a Detroit synesthetic Eurorack-driven generative visuals project, and lent design work to the David Lynch Foundation.
I’ve since continued providing freelance multimedia for numerous Michigan brands. Most recently I created an experimental video installation for Palm Treat at the Voyeur Bordello, and one of my short horror films was selected as a top three finalist at Crofoot’s 2025 Creepy Cheapy Halloween Film Festival.
I taught myself color grading by studying the films that moved me most and reverse-engineering their looks until I could create them myself. That same drive has pulled me deeper into documentary-style storytelling and cinematography. Most recently I joined four other Detroit artists on a cross-country road trip, documenting the journey of a mechanical fifteen-foot surrealist dog sculpture we trailered across America to raise awareness for the All About Animals charity as part of the Dragon Preserves project.
I’m currently preparing for an upcoming three-week docuseries traveling the east coast as Director of Photography.
